Jack Frost turned all the students into ice types and stuff, because he is a troll like that. So that is why our dear smeargle turned into a snorunt.
Well, it is not problem for Rufi. The kid is living a dream, being able to play in the snow as much as he wants, and doing neat ice type tricks… He also got a cool looking hat. 8D
Rufi probably believes he turned into a snorunt because of the magic of the Christmas specials he likes to watch during winter.

Since I saw your sketch for this, you already know how I feel about Rufi's new look.
However, during my quick peek of it this morning, I don't remember shading being here, did you add some later? Whether you did or not, it looks very nice.
Also, Rufi only will have three moves and he has Crunch instead of Bite now?
